Newhaven’s Division Two match against Oakwood has been postponed due to a waterlogged pitch at Fort Road.

An inspection was held at 11am on Saturday but standing surface water, and the threat of more rain to come, meant that the pitch was deemed unplayable.

Newhaven Reserves’ match at Seaford Town, and the Under 18’s home game against Sidley United on Sunday, have both also fallen foul of the weather.

All three games will be rescheduled for a later date.
