Oakwood vs Newhaven
Saturday 3rd November, Tinsley Lane, 3pm kick off

Newhaven are on the road for only the fourth time this season, as they travel to Tinsley Lane to take on Oakwood. The Dockers are on a run of five wins out of six games in all competitions – the sixth being the RUR Cup defeat at Sidley, which was awarded to Newhaven after news of an ineligible player emerged. Oakwood themselves have won three out of their last four games, their most recent being a 4-1 home win against Rustington. They also saw off Division One opponents in the Sussex Senior Cup, beating Chichester City 3-0 at Oaklands Way. Newhaven come in to the game on the back of a 5-2 win against Midhurst and Easebourne at Fort Road – all the goals coming in an entertaining first half.

Southwick Reserves vs Newhaven Reserves
Saturday 3rd November, Old Barn Way, 3pm kick off

Both Newhaven and Southwick enter this Vernon Wentworth Cup 2nd Round match on the back of 1-0 away league defeats. Southwick went down at Haywards Heath while Newhaven were losing by the same score at Hailsham Town. The Wickers received a bye through the first round but Newhaven had to get past East Preston Reserves, a game they won 2-0 thanks to goals from Damian Lambert and Barry Knight. The winner of this tie will be away to GSK Sports in the third round.

Newhaven Youth vs Saltdean United Youth
Sunday 4th November, Fort Road, 11am kick off

Newhaven Under 18s are in cup action on Sunday as they welcome Saltdean United to Fort Road. Saltdean play in the Central equivalent of the East Division Newhaven play in. The Tigers are currently fifth, having won four and lost three of their seven league games so far. Newhaven stopped a run of defeats with a 2-2 draw at Seaford Town last week, Town’s equaliser coming in the 103rd minute of a 105 minute game. Saltdean’s last game was a 7-1 win at Hurstpierpoint.
