Rustington vs Newhaven

Newhaven travel to Rustington, for the second time this season, as they look to bounce back from the disappointing 6-1 defeat at Midhurst last time out. This is the third meeting in total after the Dockers beat Saturday’s hosts 2-0 at Fort Road, on the opening day of the season, and then progressed in the Division Two cup with a 4-1 win at the Recreation Ground.

Rustington come in to the game on the back of two big wins – the first an 8-1 hammering of bottom club Saltdean United, and last week a 4-1 victory against Loxwood. The Blues are currently 15th in Division Two but have shown steady progress with those recent six points.
