Newhaven u18s continued their fine start to the 2012-13 campaign with a hard earned victory over Sidley United. The Dockers could quite easily have raced into a 4-0 lead had they converted their early opportunities, but they went into the break at 0-0 bemoaning a lack of luck and finishing.
The second half started in the same fashion until the deadlock was broken in spectacular fashion as Harry Millar’s 25 yard strike flew into the top corner. Millar added a second in the dying minutes to secure the victory in which Max Stevens was named Man of the Match.
