The u18′s are midway through their pre-season preparations with 4 games played, and 3 to come.

Tom Turner scored the only goal of the game as the young Dockers saw off Lancing in a 1-0 win. The following midweek saw them well beaten by Shoreham, who deserved the win but will have been flattered by a 6-1 scoreline. William Herriott got the visitors the lead early on, but they weren’t able to hold it.

Just two days later the youngsters scored 4 against the reserves, but were on the wrong end of 7 goals as they lost an 11 goal game. Ian Robinson scored a great goal, but was overshadowed by a Harry Millar hat trick.

Completing the quarter of games, William Herriott scored again to give Newhaven a well earned 1-0 victory at home to Clymping.

The next set of fixtures sees the team play away to Saltdean, away to Barcombe adults and then back home to compete in the Thomas Turner Trophy, before opening their league campaign away to Eastbourne Town.
