Newhaven’s Southern Combination Football League Premier Division fixture at Three Bridges, scheduled for Saturday 3rd March, has been postponed due to snow.

Despite the pitch at the Jubilee Field being playable around midday on Friday, a further snow shower during the afternoon killed any hopes of the match taking place on Saturday.

Due to the adverse weather throughout the country for most of the week, the league have allowed clubs to call games off the day before the fixture. The Dockers’ postponement is one of six Premier Division games to have been called off so far.

A new date will be arranged for the fixture and confirmed as soon as possible.
