Newhaven’s Parafix Sussex Senior Cup 2nd Round match with Littlehampton Town was postponed 15 minutes before it was due to kick off last night.

The club checked the pitch during the afternoon and felt it was playable. But with the temperature dropping, and ground getting harder, the referee deemed the playing surface to be unfit for a game and so called it off.

A new date will be set for the game, in which the winner will face League One Crawley Town in Round 3.
