Newhaven FC will play Division One side Sidley United in the second round of the Sussex Principal RUR Charity Cup. Both teams received byes through the first round and will meet each other at Glovers Lane, Sidley on the 16th October. The winner of this match will then face one of Ringmer, East Grinstead Town or Lancing at home in the third round.

With the first team now back in senior football, Newhaven Reserves get the chance to defend the Sussex Brighton Marquees Intermediate Cup. They will begin with an away match at West Chiltington, of the West Sussex Premier Division, on the 22nd September. Newhaven won the competition last season after a 1-0 win against Saltdean United (pictured above).
