Newhaven FC have successfully won an appeal against the red card handed to left back Bailie Rogers in Saturday’s opening SCFL Premier Division fixture at Horsham YMCA.
Rogers was dismissed in the 25th minute of the game for what was deemed to be violent conduct, following a coming together of players.
However, the club appealed against the decision and the Sussex FA has confirmed that the punishment against Rogers has been withdrawn.
Rogers will now be available for selection for this Saturday’s Emirates FA Cup Extra Preliminary Round tie against Little Common.
