Results

The penultimate game of the season was the third meeting between ourselves and Little Common U18’s on a Thursday evening after having no match on the Sunday.

Little Common are a team that we have never beaten but we were hoping to play well and push for vital points to finish at least third in the Division.

The team was much the same as usual although there was a debut for Lukas Franzen-Jones. The team did play some good football at times and did create several goal scoring opportunities which were either saved or not taken.

However, Common controlled the match and ran out 8-1 winners with one player scoring 7 of their goals and credit should be given to that individual.

Our only goal was scored by Martin Stephen on the half hour. The result was very disappointing and put pressure on ourselves to win against Crowborough on Sunday.
