Newhaven 0-2 Worthing (HT 0-1)
Omar Bugiel 10, Harvey Sparks 70

Newhaven crashed out of the Parafix Sussex Senior Cup at the third-round stage for a second consecutive season after a 2-0 home defeat to Worthing.

The delayed fixture was finally played, at the fourth time of asking, but it was the Ryman South side who took the final quarter-final spot.

The visitors went ahead in the 10th minute when Bugiel beat 3 players on a mazy run into the box and calmly finished past Jake Buss to give the Rebels the lead.

Worthing scored their second on 70 minutes when Charlie Dennis received a throw in, got to the bye-line and crossed for Harvey Sparks to tap in.
