Newhaven’s eight-match unbeaten run came to an end at a wet Littlehampton Town on Tuesday evening.

The Dockers hadn’t lost in the league since the beginning of October but struggled to contain a stirring second half fightback from the Golds.

Lee Robinson had given the depleted visitors a 1-0 half-time lead, but two goals from Dan Simmonds and a Mitchell Hand penalty sealed the win for the home side.
