A last minute penalty save from Jake Buss saw Newhaven clinch a 4-3 win at Broadbridge Heath on Saturday. Lee Robinson had put Newhaven ahead early on but goals from Damon Aston, Jake Holmes and Martyn Flack looked to have won the game for the hosts.
But the Dockers hit back through Richie Watton and super-sub Lucas Mann, who scored twice, including an injury time penalty (pictured). And there was still time for man of the match Buss to palm away an Aston penalty as Newhaven held on. Full report here.
Newhaven Reserves brought their losing run to an end with an impressive local derby victory at Peacehaven. Simon Blaxall scored either side of a Clive Snell penalty as the Dockers won their first game of 2013. Full report here.
