Newhaven made it three cup wins in the space of seven days after hitting a 90th minute winner to sink Shoreham 3-2 at Middle Road in the Sussex Senior Cup.

Craig Goodsir had given the hosts a 13th minute lead but that was cancelled out by Craig Bunch two minutes before half-time.

Shoreham were reduced to ten men early in the second half, when Farzad Bidgood was dismissed for violent conduct, but Newhaven struggled to find a winner until a crazy last five minutes saw three goals scored.

Lee Robinson looked to have won it for the Dockers in the 88th minute, but just two minutes later the ten men found an equaliser when Melford Simpson bundled in from a corner. However, Newhaven came again and Robinson struck from 25 yards to finally seal the tie.
