The Sussex County Football League Division One match between Newhaven and Hassocks has been postponed due to a waterlogged pitch.

An 11am pitch inspection was carried out at Fort Road and it was deemed unfit to play.

At the time of writing only one fixture in the Sussex County Football League has survived the weather – the Division One match between Pagham and Chichester City at Nyetimber Lane.

Newhaven are next in action on Boxing Day when they make the trip to Middle Road to take on Shoreham.
