Newhaven Football Club enjoyed an excellent weekend, with both First and Reserve team running out comfortable winners.

Newhaven made it two wins from their opening two games at a sun-soaked Storrington on Saturday afternoon. The 4-1 victory at Storrington Recreation Ground puts the Dockers second in Division Two, albeit at only an early stage, and keeps them as one of four teams with a 100% record still in tact. Back at Fort Road it was the Reserve’s first game of the season. They beat Sidley United 5-2 thanks to goals from Luke Duchossoy, James Whatman (2), Matt Harrison and Damian Lambert. Full report here.
