Newhaven FC have today found out their early-stage opponents in both the FA Vase and FA Youth Cup.

The Dockers will travel to Horley Town, of the Combined Counties Football League, in the first qualifying round of the FA Carlsberg Vase, and the winners will be away at either Saltdean United or Southwick.

Horley finished 12th in the Premier Division last season and beat both Redhill and Seaford Town in the Vase before eventually going out to Rye United.

The tie will be played on Saturday 7th September.

Newhaven FC U18s have also found out their Preliminary Round opponents in the FA Youth Cup. They will face Dorking at Fort Road and the winners will be at home to either Shoreham or Pagham.

The tie will be played week commencing 9th September.
