Saturday’s Sussex County Football League Division One match between East Grinstead Town and Newhaven has been postponed due to a waterlogged pitch.

Heavy rain on Friday night left the surface at the GAC Stadium unplayable, leaving the Wasps no choice but to call the game off.

The fixture has been rearranged for Tuesday 25th March at 7.30pm.

Newhaven Reserves’ home match against Hailsham Town Reserves was also postponed for the same reason, meaning they are still without a competitive game in 2014.
