Newhaven are back on top of Division Two after seeing off Storrington on Saturday afternoon. Unfortunately it was the only win for the club over the weekend as both Reserves and Under 18’s suffered defeats.

Newhaven 3-0 Storrington
Two goals from Lee Robinson and one from Mark Probert were enough for Newhaven to beat Storrington at Fort Road. The Dockers were 1-0 up at half-time through a Robinson strike at the second attempt. Probert smashed in another rebound in the second half before Robinson placed in a Dave Altendorff cutback. Full report here.

Newhaven Reserves 2-4 Little Common
Newhaven Reserves were well beaten by a lively Little Common on Friday night. Tom Stevenson gave the Dockers the lead but Common fought back through Adam Smith and Stuart Collier. James Vaughan made it 1-3 before Liam Keith converted a penalty to reduce the deficit. However, Oscar Hammond scored soon after to kill off any hopes of a comeback. Full report here.

AFC Uckfield Youth 7-0 Newhaven Youth
The Under 18’s were on the wrong end of a seven-goal hiding at AFC Uckfield on Sunday. The score was only 1-0 at the break but a ruthless Uckfield team showed no mercy as they hit the net a further six times. Full report here.
