Following a response to the recent post that was put out on social media, Newhaven FC is pleased to announce that David Fuller will be the club’s new Marketing Manager.
Having made large strides forward as a football club over the last decade and with the installation of a new 3G pitch ongoing, the need for further help and expertise is more important than ever and the appointment of Fuller as Marketing Manager will benefit the club’s progression.
On the appointment, Club Chairman Martin Garry said: “Following a discussion between David and myself last week, I am pleased to announce that he has accepted the post of Marketing Manager with immediate effect.
“Those of you who follow the Men’s First Team will know of him as he is regular face in the crowd.
“We are very fortunate to get David and I’m sure he will be a great asset to club in the years to come. Welcome aboard David, we look forward to working with you.”
Fuller, who is an author and freelance journalist, said it is ‘an honour’ to get involved with the club.
“I am delighted to be joining Newhaven FC as their new marketing manager,” said Fuller.
“Having lived in the town for the majority of my life, and spent many a happy hour at Fort Road (along with a fair few frustrating ones, it has to be said), it’s an honour to be getting involved with this amazing community club.
“With the new 3G surface soon to be in place, the 2022/23 season promises to be the start of an exciting new era for the club, both on and off the pitch, and I’m really looking forward to being part of it.
“Over the coming months, I’ll be urging everyone to get down to Fort Road to check out the fabulous new facilities and lend their support to both the men’s and women’s teams as they battle for honours on the pitch.”
Welcome to the club, David.
