Newhaven gained three points, from a possible six, over the August Bank Holiday weekend.
They continued their good home form with a 3-1 win over East Grinstead Town on Saturday afternoon. Matt Geard had given the visitors a 22nd minute lead but Ebou Jallow hit back soon after. Second half goals from Ryan Knight and Mark Probert saw the Dockers win the three points.
Less than 48 hours later Newhaven travelled to St Francis Rangers where a disappointing performance saw them lose 2-0. Josh Hawkes (23) and an Aaron Walsh penalty (80) were enough for the hosts to win for the first time this season.
